Holy Family After School Instrumental Music Program
The Holy Family After School Instrumental Music Program is open to all students in grades K through six.
The program is directed by Larry Newman and classes are taught by Danielle Mays.
INSTRUMENT CHOICES
• Kinder, first, second and third graders may choose the violin.
• Fourth, fifth and sixth graders may choose the violin, flute, clarinet, or trumpet.
Instruction begins on Thursday, January 21, 2016 and runs through the school year, culminating with a school concert on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
The cost for the 2016 winter/spring orchestra program is $375. This fee covers weekly lessons and all music, books and basic supplies. Instruments are available through our official supplier, The Instrument Place. Order online now and get free delivery to school for the first lesson.
Small group classes will be scheduled back to back every 30 – 40 minutes on Thursdays after school from dismissal time until 5:00 PM. Please have your child’s schedule clear for a 30 – 40 minute lesson during this time block.
Kinder violin classes will be offered immediately following dismissal at 3:00 PM. Students waiting to take a later lesson may opt to go home with parents and then return to school at lesson time or arrange for other after school clubs/supervision. Students waiting to take their lesson may not be on campus unsupervised. Please contact the school regarding questions about other after school opportunities for students.
The exact schedule will be determined when enrollment is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
The final schedule of classes will be emailed to all applicants a few days prior to the first day of class.

All instruments are delivered free to school in time for the first lesson.
