The Topanga Elementary
School Instrumental Music Program is open to all students
in grades one through six.
This award winnng
program is directed by Larry Newman.
Music
teaching specialists are Mandy Fey (woodwinds & brass),
Kathy Shaw (strings), & Dan Ubick (guitar).
Thirty
to forty minute classes are offered each Monday and Wednesday during
regular school hours from 12:30 - 3:00 PM.
No musical experience is required
to enroll in a beginning class.
Students with some prior experience
will be placed in an intermediate or advanced level ensemble depending
on ability.
First graders may only choose the recorder and you
must be in at least third grade to choose the alto saxophone.
