The 2012 - 2013 St. Paul the
Apostle Violin and Cello Program is open
to all students in grades Kindergarten through six.
The program is directed by Larry Newman. Karolina Naziemiec is the strings instructor.
On Wednesday, October 10, Mr. Newman and Ms. Karolina will visit the grade level classrooms to present the violin to students and invite them to join.
Weekly classes will be offered for 30 to 40 minutes each Wednesday after school beginning on October 17.
Kindergarten and first graders may only choose the violin.
Second grade and higher may choose the violin or cello.
The exact time of your child’s class will be determined
when enrollment is complete.
Please reserve the time block of 3:10 PM - 5:10 PM on Wednesdays.
The
30 to 40 minute lesson may be scheduled anytime during that
period based on the ages & playing experiences of the applicants.
To
help you plan, beginning players will be scheduled closer to
3:10 PM and experienced players will be later in the afternoon.
Exact
lesson times will be emailed to all applicants when registration
is complete.
A music fee of $495 for the 2012-2013 school year (covers weekly lessons from October 17, 2012 through May 2013) is requested from each participant.
This fee includes all music, books and basic supplies which
your child is given. The only other expense will be the
lease, rental or purchase of the instrument.
Class size is limited and priority is
given to the earliest applicants. Please complete the
online application to reserve a spot.
Once the application has been submitted,
please follow-up with payment by check via US Mail.
