The Jefferson Elementary School Instrumental Music Program is open to all students in grades one through five.

The program is directed by Larry Newman. Brenda Etterbeek is the music specialist.

Small group lessons are given each Friday after school on recorder, flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, violin and cello.

Classes run through the school year, culminating with a school orchestra concert in May 2009.
