The Holy Family School Instrumental
Music Program is open to all
students in grades Kindergarten through seven.
The program is directed by Larry Newman. Laura Ryan is
the music specialist.
Weekly classes are offered each Monday after school.
Instruction begins on Monday, October 8, 2012 and runs through
the school year, culminating with a school concert in May 2013.
Monday After School Schedule

Kinders and first graders may only choose the violin.
Second graders may choose the guitar, violin, flute, clarinet
and trumpet.
Third grade and higher may choose the guitar, violin,
cello, flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet or baritone horn.
Classes are for beginning students with no prior
experience on their chosen instrument as well as for students with
prior lessons and experience.
Classes will take place on Mondays between the hours of 3:00 and 5:15 PM. The
final schedue of classes will be announced after enrollment is complete.
Please clear your child's schedule on Mondays from 3:00 - 5:15 PM so that he/she
is available for their particular lesson time when it is announced.
Music Fee
A music fee of $520 covers the entire school year of music instruction (October through May). This fee includes all music,
books and basic supplies which your child is given. The only other
expense will be the lease, rental or purchase of the instrument.
Getting an Instrument
Through special arrangements with a local music retailer, instruments
are available for purchase, rent or lease-to-own at up to 45%
off the retail price for participating music students.
