sized to fit the individual student.
Third grade
and up may choose violin, cello, flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet,
baritone horn or trombone.
Thirty to forty minute small group lessons are offered each
Thursday after-school in Room 7 between the hours of 3:00 and 5:40 PM. Classes run from September 27, 2012 through April 18,2013 - culminating with a school orchestra concert in April 2013.
Players with one year of experience or more will be placed
in sections according to ability rather than instrument played.
Sections and schedules will be determined after enrollment
is complete.
Your child's exact lesson time and room location will be emailed a few
days prior to the beginning of classes. Please keep the time block of 3:00 - 5:40 pm open. Students will be expected
to report to the music room five minutes prior to the start
of their lesson.
The instructional fee for this year's program is $350 which includes all music books, sheet music and
basic supplies (reeds, valve oil, violin rosin, CDs, etc.)
which your child is given. The only other cost will be
the rental, lease or purchase of the instrument.
Instruments are available from our official supplier for
