The Clover Ave.
School Instrumental Music Program is open to all students
in grades one through five.
The program is directed by Larry Newman. Mandy Fey is the winds specialist and Karolina Nazimiec is the strings specialist.
Weekly classes are offered for 30 - 40 minutes each
Monday after school beginning on Monday, September 24, 2012.
INTRODUCTORY STUDENT ASSEMBLY
Students will be introduced to the program with live performances of the instruments on Monday, August 27 in the school auditorium.
First graders may only choose the violin.
Second graders may choose the violin, flute, clarinet
or trumpet.
Third, fourth and fifth graders may choose the violin, flute,
clarinet, alto sax, trumpet or baritone horn.
Classes
are for beginning students with no prior experience on their chosen
instrument as well as for students with prior lessons and experience.
Classes will take place on Mondays between the hours of 2:40 and 5:30 PM beginning on Monday, September 24. The final schedule and location of classes will be announced via email after enrollment is complete.
Please clear your child's schedule on Mondays from
2:40 - 5:30 PM so that he/she is available for their particular
lesson time when it is announced.
Music Instructional Fees
A music fee of $495 is requested from each participant.
This fee includes all music, books and basic supplies which
your child is given for the entire 2012-13 school year of music lessons.
The only other expense will be
the lease, rental or purchase of the instrument.
