The Carlthorp School Instrumental Music Program

The Carlthorp School Instrumental Music Program is open to all students in grades Kindergarten through six.

All students in Kindergarten , first and second grade receive a weekly violin lesson. Instruments and instruction are provided by the school as a regular part of the curricular offerings.

A before school elective is also available for older, more advanced students who play woodwinds, brass or strings. This group is the "honor orchestra" and members also perform in the All School Honor Youth Orchestra which performs at UCLA in May 2008.
