Weekly instruction is offered for students in grades one through eight every Wednesday beginning on Wednesday, October 3, 2012.

FIRST GRADE VIOLIN CLASS
Our first grade violin class is designed to introduce children to the joy of music making through the violin.

All first graders will receive a small group 30-minute lesson each week (8:30 AM for section A and 9:00 AM for section B) and will be provided with a size-appropriate instrument for use in the class. First grade violin class is provided as a part of the Berkeley Hall School curriculum and there is no additonal fee for the lessons or the violin.

WOODWIND, BRASS AND STRING CLASSES FOR GRADES TWO THROUGH EIGHT
Students in grades two through eight have the election option on Wednesdays of receiving instruction on flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, baritone horn, trombone, violin, and cello. Students must be in at least fourth grade to choose the saxophone, baritone horn or trombone.

Classes for grades two and up are offered both before school and during the regular school day. Please be prepared to attend either before school (7:30 AM) or the school day class (9:40 AM). The exact schedule will be determined when registration is complete and classes will be created based on instrumentation and experience levels.
