What is the GSI Foundation
In 2011, GSI founder and CEO Tim Miklaucic created the GSI Foundation, a non-profit company based on the very simple idea that every child deserves a musical education, regardless of his or her social background. Like many of you reading this, he was lucky enough to grow up with music in his home as well as at school; his children also have had the same good fortune. They seem to be the exception rather than the rule, as public schools in our country have reduced funding for these crucially important programs in recent years. As a result, many children have no musical experience, except as consumers or listeners. The GSI Foundation is committed to see more public school students become active music makers.

Three New Violins

Make a Gift in Honor or Memory of Someone Special
Friends and family members often choose to express their love and respect in a more enduring way.
This lasting gift will have a special meaning by supporting our mission to provide yearlong quality music education programs in disadvantaged schools.
To make a gift, please include a note on your check “In Honor/Memory of Name of Individual” and mail to:

“We know that an orchestra is important. We know what it means for kids. Our students are improving in other areas because of this. It is a great gift to our school.”
